Bombings

Day 13 of the conflict of Gaza. Today there is now no gunfire. But now a building exploded and the supplies were needed. A school got blew up and more than 14 people died. Rockets were shot in Israel and some people got hurt and killed.

Snow

Hundreds of schools have been closed because of the snow. Many people have been freezing because the heat could not come out because of the gas. In Spokane 30 roofs have collapsed because of the heavy snow.

Goody Bags

Kids are giving goody bags to the soldiers that have suckers, lolly pops, and many more. The bags cost 30 cents per bag. And 25 to 30 bags can fit per box.In 5 years they have spent more than 150,000 to the troops.

Israel has had many bombings and in a lot of cars too. People have been throwing bombs into the neighborhoods. Israelis and Palestinian have been fighting and bombing each other. Many had died. More than 500 Palestinians have died.

Storms

Washington, Oregon, and Idaho have had really bad storms. In Oregon the streets have became water high enough for boats to float in.

Shopping

2008 is the first time in 40 years that holiday shopping has dropped and hasn't got very many business.
